    FIVB World League expands to 18 teams for 2013

    Lausanne, Switzerland, December 1, 2012 – The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) World League Council confirmed the structure of the 2013 edition of the FIVB’s premier annual men’s event at its meeting at the FIVB head office in Lausanne on Saturday with the competition increasing from 16 to 18 teams split into three pools of six.     Lima, Peru, September 2, 2012 –The inaugural U-23 Women’s Pan American Cup serves off at Miguel Grau Coliseum of El Callao in Lima on Monday with the participation of eight teams.     Lima, Peru, September 3, 2012 – Brazil opened the inaugural U-23 Women’s Pan American Cup with a 3-1 (25-19, 21-25, 27-25, 25-20) over a resilient Colombia in Pool A at Miguel Grau Coliseum on Monday.
