Darlene Ramdin, captain of Trinidad and Tobago: "It is a very young team, but I am satisfied because step by step it was seen how they developed in the match, in their first Pan American Cup".

Claudio Torres, coach of Mexico: "I'm satisfied with what was shown today, the girls did well in their first game. Little by little they were taking pace and I am happy with what was done. It's a new team, you have to adjust details and this match will help us correct mistakes."

Francisco Cruz, coach of Trinidad and Tobago: "Our libero and the captain are the most experienced players, the others had their first international match today. They did not even play their category internationally. I'm happy with what they could do, now I have about five players with whom I want to work more to be able to integrate them into the big team."
