FIVB/Norceca Volleyball Regional Center in the Dominican Republic
will host a Sport Administration Course addressed to Dominican
sport officers supported by the Dominican Olympic Committee under
the Olympic Solidarity program.

FIVB/Norceca Volleyball Regional Center in the Dominican Republic
will host a Sport Administration Course addressed to Dominican
sport officers supported by the Dominican Olympic Committee under
the Olympic Solidarity program.
The hosting of a Sport Administration Course respond to an
initiative of the Dominican Volleyball Federation.
The course will run from May 18 to 21 as it was announced during
a press conference held at the premises of the Dominican Olympic
Committee.
Victor Gil, vice president of the Dominican Federation, Antonio
Acosta, coordinator of the Olympic Solidarity Program and Nelson
Ramirez, director of the Regional Center, explained the details of
the course and the instructors.
The lecturers will be Luis Mejia (profile of the sport manager),
Rafael Damiron (Introduction to Olympism), Luis Elpidio Cumba
(Violence and Sport), Lourdes Gomez (Promotion and Sponsorship),
Osiris Tejada (Government and Sport), Pedro Quezada (Ethics and
Sport), Miguel Tejada (Management of Conflicts and Solution of
Problems), Maximo Abreu (Constitution and Protection of the
Organization), Marciel Leguizamon (Technology of the Information),
Gilberto Garcia (Financial Management and Budgeting), Enmanuel Musa
(Organization of Sport Events), Epifanio Ogando (Development of
Technical Leadership, Development of Athletes and Identification of
Talents), Josefina Cordero (Sport Medicine and Doping), Nelly
Manuel Doñé (Organization of an Olympic Mission), José Luis Suero
(Selection of an Olympic Team) and Edwin Rodriguez (Strategic
Planning and Team Work).
The event opens on Thursday May 18 at 16:00 and closes on Sunday
May 21 at 15:00 with the presentation of certificates at the
FIVB/Norceca Volleyball Regional Development Center located at the
Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.
