International Level II course for coaches is in progress in Baja California

TIJUANA, Mexico, November 19, 2017 - A total of 20 participants from five countries have attended to the International Level II Course for  Coaches was , which takes place at the facilities of the FIVB-Norceca Regional Development Center in Baja California.

The Course, led by the Cuban instructor Ruben Sainz, was inaugurated with the presence of authorities of the North, Central American and Caribbean Confederation, as well as representatives of the Institute of Sports and Physical Culture of Baja California.

 

Coaches from Costa Rica, Cuba, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, the United States and the host, Mexico, are part of the group of attendees who have taken the theoretical and practical sessions.

 

On behalf of the Baja California Sports General Director, Saul Castro Verdugo, as well as of the International Volleyball Federation and the North, Central American and Caribbean Confederation, Alberto Arreola Center's Operations Director, welcomed the participants.

 

Meanwhile, center's supervisor, Jackeline Montes, also highlighted the work that has been carried out in the preparation of the activities of this organization, whose operation was recently ratified during the Norceca Confederation Congress in Costa Rica.

 

In representation of, David Lugo, High Performance and Physical Culture Director, Jose Paz Monreal made the course's formal opening declaration.

 

Course Director, Ruben Sainz stated: "The Development Center in Tijuana, has worked hard with great professionalism in all these years by conducting permanent training in favor of the development of volleyball in Mexico, the Norceca region and the FIVB itself."

 

The activities of the course continued with the practical workshops and with the theoretical introduction sessions, in which the different game and work systems have been exposed and analyzed. Also, some magisterial lectures have been carried out, such as the one that took place in the field of Sports Medicine, under the charge of Dr. Carlos Jiménez, Amaro, who is the Medical responsible of the Baja California Sports Program.
