Dominican Republic began the International Coaches Course Level I,
which will be taking place from September
13th -17th , with instructors
Reputed Antonio Rizola Neto, FIVB Course Director from Brazil,
Instructor Juan Manuel Cartagena De Jesus from Puerto Rico and
Wilson Sanchez from Dominican Republic.

which will be taking place from September
13th -17th , with instructors
Reputed Antonio Rizola Neto, FIVB Course Director from Brazil,
Instructor Juan Manuel Cartagena De Jesus from Puerto Rico and
Wilson Sanchez from Dominican Republic.
With a total of 42 coaches from 12
countries as Puerto Rico, Panama, Costa Rica, Peru, Virgin Islands,
Saint Martin, Venezuela, Russia, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil and the
Dominican Republic are participating in the Coaches Course in which
there are 13 women who are prepared to reach another step in their
career in volleyball.
In the opening ceremony was
attended by Mr. Angel Rivas, Technical Vice president of FEDOVOLI,
Mr. Roosevelt Comarazamy, official FIVB / NORCECA press, Technical
Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Sports, Mr. Anibal
Portorreral.
The vice president of the Dominican
Volleyball Federation, Angel Rivas, welcomed and invited
participants to use the knowledge to improve the quality of the
International Volleyball.
Mr. Roosevelt Comarazamy explained
that in volleyball begins with a serve-receive, while with the
training is receive-serve, which satisfying a good job and the fact
is continue learning to improve.
Mr. Antonio Rizola Neto, Course
Director, said that he applaud the interest of the participants,
including ex-athletes of the discipline and current members of
a team, speaks highly of the growth of volleyball in the
world.
Prof. Nelson Jose Ramirez, Director
of Development Center was present at the opening and said that he
sees all positive on the future of Volleyball in the countries of
the new coaches to be developed during this important course and
also appreciated the contribution provided from the NORCECA
Confederation, the FIVB, the ministry of Sports and Olympic
Committee of Dominican Republic.
