satisfactory results were achieved during the Beach Volleyball
Coaches Course that concluded on Sunday at the NORCECA/FIVB
Regional Development Center based at the Olympic Center Juan Pablo
Duarte, which was supported by NORCECA Confederation presided over
by Cristobal Marte Hoffiz.
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, April 11, 2016 - Highly
satisfactory results were achieved during the Beach Volleyball
Coaches Course that concluded on Sunday at the NORCECA/FIVB
Regional Development Center based at the Olympic Center Juan Pablo
Duarte, which was supported by NORCECA Confederation presided over
by Cristobal Marte Hoffiz.
"I feel there is a resurgence in beach volleyball, it was a
great event," said course director the Cuban Carlos Moreno, who had
an assistant instructor in the Dominican Yewddys Perez.
Angel Rivas, technical vice president of the Dominican
Volleyball Federation (Fedovoli), the organization that records the
event within its working program, stressed that development goals
are being met and urged participants to conduct a technical and
ethical work with the knowledge they are bringing to their
communities.
"Now it behooves you to continue working on your training and
make a good use of your knowledge," said Rivas, who also affirmed
the importance for the country the development of beach volleyball
and ratified the expansion plan outlined by Alexis Garcia during
the opening.
In the closing ceremony of Nelson Ramirez, director of the
Regional Center, gave the identification cards to participants who
also received certificates of participation.
The Fedovoli confirmed that next weekend training session
concludes with the Course of Sports Administration.
