2016 - An International Level I Coaches Course is currently
underway in the city of Monterrey with the participation of 34
coaches from all over the Mexican Republic.

2016 - An International Level I Coaches Course is currently
underway in the city of Monterrey with the participation of 34
coaches from all over the Mexican Republic.
The course which runs from November
23 to 27 is under the direction of FIVB Instructor Juan Cartagena
of Puerto Rico and the supervision of Lisandra Ramirez, who
represents the FIVB/NORCECA Regional Development Center in the
Dominican Republic.
The opening ceremony was attended
by Jesus Perales, president of the Mexican Volleyball Federation,
Cesar Salinas, president of the Nuevo Leon State Volleyball
Association, and Daniel Bautista Rocha, Director of Physical
Culture and Sport of the Nuevo Leon Sport Institute.
President Perales said to be
satisfied for the realization of the important course underlining
the participation of coaches from all the regions of the
country.
Cartagena welcomed the opportunity
of once again working in Mexico in the training of coaches that in
the near future will transmit their experience to other colleagues
in their respective communities.
Finally, Bautista officially opened
the course and expressed his gratitude to the Mexican Federation
and the State Association for their willingness to host the course
and their consistent support to the development of volleyball in
Mexico.
