TIJUANA, Mexico, July 14, 2013 - The International Volleyball Seminar for Middle Blockers has been a very important platform in terms of preparation and new topics for coaches and players.

Lectures about injuries prevention as well as practical clinics at the High Performance Center Gymnasium were part of the weekend agenda.

"I think this has been a very good experience for everyone, not only for the coaches and players who have come here," said Spain's coach and instructor Francisco Hervas.

"We have taken the best of it and also have had the opportunity of sharing our experiences in volleyball and everything we like about it and that is very important," he added.

The attendants also worked in video analysis of plays and rotations, as well as some evolution and coordination of drills.

The practical session took place at the High Performance Center Gym with the cooperation of the Baja California Boys' Youth Team, whose players had the chance to participate and improved their technique with the support of Hervas who have served as National Teams assistant and head coach of Spain.

This has been a unique chance for the youngsters that captured the National Junior Olympic Title in Mexico just a couple of months ago. The sessions and lectures will continue this week with an exposition by Mexican Referee Vanessa Barriba, who has participated in Volleyball and Beach Volleyball international competitions.
