Tijuana, México, September 30
2013.- The Baja California High Performance Center will receive
attendants from different countries of the North, Central American
and Caribbean region for the Reception and Defense International
Course.
This course and seminar takes place
with the support of the FIVB Development Center of Santo Domingo,
Dominican Republic. The course will be officially inaugurated on
Tuesday, october 1st by the Norceca, FIVB and Baja California
Sports Institute Authorities.
Before te beginning of this course,
assignated instructor, Juan Cartagena from Puerto Rico and
supervisor Lisandra Ramirez of Dominican Republic held a meeting
with the Baja California Sports Institute representatives.
Cartagena and Ramirez were received
by Alberto Arreola Sanchez, President of the Baja California
Volleyball Association and member of the FIVB and Norceca
Confederations Financial Commissions.
"We hope that your stay here can be
fine and that everything will be fine according to what we have
planned for this seminar," said Arreola. "We are very glad to start
this course. Just a few days ago we finished a Level I course in
Costa Rica," Cartagena stated.
This course will be developed just
a few days before the start of the FIVB Women's U23 World
Championship to be played at this same venue.
